1. You choose the photo. Once you've received the kit, open the app and choose a photo from your phone. The thread preview appears straight away, and you can try others.
2. You set up the board. The box turns into an easel, and your phone sits on its stand.
3. The app shows you each nail. A letter and a number, for example “B 34”: you pull the thread to that nail, then the app gives you the next one.
4. The face appears, thread by thread. Stop whenever you like: the app keeps your place. With the last thread, your portrait is ready.

I can't draw. Will I really manage?
Yes, and you won't have anything to draw. Every nail on the board has a letter and a number. The app shows you the next one, for example “B 34”: you pull the thread to it, then move on to the next. If you can read a number, you can do it. The thread draws the face.
How do I know if my photo will work?
You see it before the first thread: the app shows you a thread preview of your photo, and you can try as many as you like. Best results: a face looking at the camera, well lit, filling the photo. The preview is indicative: the final portrait will be close to it, without being identical.
Can I weave a couple, a child, my dog?
Yes: one person, two faces side by side or your pet, as long as the faces are sharp and clearly visible. Try the photo in the app: the preview shows you straight away how it will look in thread.
How long does it take?
Several evenings, at your own pace. Ten minutes or a whole evening, it's up to you: the app keeps your place, and you pick up at the right nail the next day. A moment for you, with no screen to scroll.
What do I need?
A smartphone or tablet for the app, that's all. Everything else is in the box: the board and its numbered nails, the spool of black thread, the box that turns into an easel and a small stand for your phone.
It's a gift, but I don't have their photo
